Draft for legal review — not yet in effect.
This is a working draft prepared for review by counsel during the private beta. Placeholders in [brackets] are not yet decided.
Community Guidelines
Effective date: [EFFECTIVE DATE]
MRRLoop (`app.mrrloop.net`) works because founders help each other: learn from someone a step ahead, help someone a step behind. These guidelines keep that loop honest and safe. During the private beta the community is small and invite-only, which makes every one of these rules matter more, not less.
The spirit
- Help is free and voluntary. Nobody owes anybody help. Skill swaps (help for help) are welcome.
- Be useful and specific. Share what you actually did and what happened.
- Be honest about results. Never claim or imply that something will produce revenue or growth.
- Respect privacy. What is shared in a room stays in that room.
Not allowed
- Paid member-to-member deals. No selling services, charging for help, tips or invoices, and no moving a conversation elsewhere to get paid.
- Equity, investment or revenue share. No offers or requests for equity, investment, loans or a share of revenue.
- Solicitation. No sales pitches, recruiting, fundraising or unsolicited promotion.
- Sharing private data. Do not share another member's revenue, files, messages or personal details outside where they shared them, or without their consent.
- Sharing access. Do not forward your invitation, sign-in links or codes, or the beta access gate credentials to anyone. Ask us to invite them instead.
- Harassment and hate. No threats, bullying, unwanted sexual content, or attacks based on identity.
- Spam. No repetitive, automated or off-topic posting, and no bulk messaging.
- Impersonation. Do not pretend to be another person, company or MRRLoop staff.
- Fake help and XP farming. Do not trade fake help, mark help as done when it was not, coordinate with other accounts to gain XP, or use multiple accounts.
- Fake revenue. Do not submit made-up or manipulated revenue, or try to make data appear verified.
- Illegal or harmful content. Nothing illegal, infringing or malicious (including malware in files).
Reporting and blocking
- Use Report on a message, file, member or room to send it to our moderation queue. The reported member is not told who reported them.
- Use Block to stop a member from contacting you or being matched with you.
- If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
What happens after a report
- A moderator reviews the report and the relevant content.
- Depending on severity and history, we may take no action, warn, remove content, reverse XP or league standing, restrict features, suspend, withdraw the invitation, or close the account.
- Automated anti-fraud checks may also flag suspicious XP or help patterns for review and reversal.
- Where reasonable, we tell the member what action was taken and why.
Appeals
If you think we got it wrong, email [CONTACT EMAIL — e.g. hello@mrrloop.net] within [APPEAL WINDOW — proposed 30 days] with the decision and why you disagree. Someone not involved in the original decision will review it and reply.
